Puyi (1906–67), (just left of center wearing a hat) was the last Emperor of China and the twelfth and final ruler of the Qing Dynasty. In 1934 he was declared the Kangde Emperor of the puppet state of Manchukuo by the Empire of Japan which he ruled until the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1945. The man who is third from right is Zhang Jinghui, the Prime Minister of Manchukuo. Possibly on a state visit to Japan.
