This illustration of Alice talking with the two queens, the White Queen and the Red Queen, is from 'Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There' by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), who wrote this novel in 1871 as a sequel to 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.' Here Alice has put a royal crown on her head.
