Theatrical makeup for the character of Becassine. Flesh-toned paste, false nose, brightly rouged cheeks and chin, sensual red lips, beauty spots added with pencil, Breton headdress. Becassine was a young Breton housemaid, heroine of a comic strip which first appeared in La Semaine de Suzette in 1905.
