German U-Boat 117 captured by Allied forces during World War One. In the photograph, Lt. Com. H.C. Fraser and U.S. government officials Secretary of War Newton D. Baker and Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels can be seen examining the U-Boat. Also present are General Peyton C. March, Edward E. Britton, Lt. Com. J.A. Rayhart, Ralph Hayes, and members of the U-Boat crew. This image was taken by Sgt. Combs on May 24, 1919, with the description and issue number 53414. A copy was given on May 20, 1919.
