The evening meal takes place in an interior, the back wall of which is formed by arches resting on fluted pilasters. Against this is the throne on which Christ is seated with John in front of him. They sit in the midst of the apostles at a set table, on which are square 'tin' slices, a bowl of lamb, a chalice and bread. On the benches in front of the table are three apostles, among whom Judas, recognizable by the money pouch, to whom Christ gives the bread. In the foreground on the right a jug and on the left a jug. In the crown a relief, rounded off from the top, on which Mary, sitting on clouds, with the Child on a cloud on the right in front of her, and John with the lamb on the left.
