Descrição:	Illustration of a Homo longi man. H. longi is an extinct human species identified from a single skull found in Harbin, China in 1933, although it only came to the attention of scientists in 2018. The skull, nicknamed Dragon Man, dates to at least 146,000 years ago and contains a mixture of both ancient and more modern anatomical features. The large skull is low and long, with square eye sockets, a large nasal opening and large brow ridges. Brain size was comparable to that of modern humans (Homo sapiens). H. longi is not an ancestor of modern humans, but is thought to be very closely related to us.
