It blooms between July and September. It is a protected plants in many countries. These Edelweiss flowers are growing near the Pasterze Glacier, one of the longest glaciers in Austria. Photographed in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Austria, part of the Hohe Tauern mountain range in the eastern Alps. |
