| Descrição: | Teresa Marrs, of Puyallup, Washington, waves a sign for her son,
aviation ordnance airman Tyson Truex, who is aboard the USS Carl Vinson
during the ship's homecoming at Naval Station Bremerton on January 23,
2002. Marrs' other son Caleb, eight-years-old, waves a tiny american
flag for his brother. The huge aircraft carrier has spent the past six
months at sea, more than two months as a base for air strikes against
the Taliban and al-Quaida in Afghanistan. A crowd of approximately
6,000 people were on the pier at Bremerton for the homecoming.
