M Brando, J Dean, M Monroe, G Page, P Newman, J Woodward, S Winters, R Steiger, D Hofmann and J Fonda are only some of them. Lee Strasberg directed the Sidney Kingsley film ''Men in White'', which became the Pulitzer award and further directed amongst others ''The Fifth Column'', ''Clash by Night'' and ''The Country Girl''. 1969 he founded the ''Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute'' in New York and Los Angeles, in order to make his work, previously confined to the ''Actor's Studio''. available to a wider public.
