20250402_znp_m255_004 April 2, 2025, Washington, District Of Columbia, USA: Protesters allied against Planned Parenthood assemble to express their hope that the Supreme Court rule that Medicaid funds cannot be used to pay for health care not related to abortion care at the organizationâ??s network of clinics. The clinics provide sexual health care, cancer screenings, contraceptive care and counseling, as well as some maternal health care and is a participant in the federal Title X family planning and sexual health program nationwide. The case is in response to the governor of South Carolinaâ??s disallowing Medicaid funds being spent at any clinic that offers abortion services. The court heard 90 minutes of oral arguments while protestors rallied peacefully outside. Anti-abortion protestors were dramatically outnumbered by supporters of Planned Parenthood. 04/02/25 (Credit Image: © J. Matt/ZUMA Press Wire)
